Overnight Journey: Take an AC semi-sleeper bus from New Delhi (ISBT Kashmiri Gate) or Majnu ka Tila. The journey takes approximately 11 to 12 hours.
Day 1: Arrival and Local Exploration
Morning: Arrive in McLeod Ganj around 7:00 AM and check into your hotel. Options range from budget stays 1,500 to luxury stays upto 10,000.

Evening: Enjoy "cafe hopping" in the town. Popular dining spots include The Tibet Kitchen for authentic momos, thukpa, and broth. End the day with dinner at your hotel and an overnight stay.
Day 2: The Triund Trek
Morning: Start your trek early after breakfast. You can begin from Bhagsu or take a taxi to the Gallu Devi Temple to save time and energy. Mid-trek: The trek is about 6–9 km and takes 4–5 hours. Stop at the Magic View Cafe or other tea stalls for "mountain wali maggi" and refreshments.
Evening: Reach the Triund Top (altitude 2,827 meters) by noon or early evening to witness a breathtaking sunset over the Dhauladhar range.
Night: Stay overnight in tents. Enjoy a bonfire (weather permitting) and dinner under the stars. Note that there is no mobile signal or electricity at the top.
Day 3: Sightseeing and Departure
Morning: Wake up early for a "blissful sunrise". After breakfast, begin the 3–4 hour descent back to McLeod Ganj.
Afternoon: Visit the Dalai Lama Monastery (Namgyal Monastery), the Dharamshala Skyway/Stadium, and local Tea Gardens. You can also visit the Tibet Museum or St. John in the Wilderness Church.
Evening: Depart for your return journey to Delhi/Chandigarh.
